Has anyone had problems with Daimler Chrysler not honoring a warranty?? Because you used an employee discount? I bought a 100,000 Mile warranty for my jeep liberty. My engine is blown and heavily sludged up. I have all my maintenance and oil receipts, infact Daimler service center was the last to do an oil change and had no report of sludge. This was a month before it was blown. Daimler refuses to honor my waranty and fix my engine. When I contacted my lawyer, I was told when I used an employee discount I agreed in fine print that I would never take Daimler to court, therefore voiding my waranty. Has anyone had this problem??

Who cares who owns Daimler Chrysler ? When the Germans (Mercedes Benz) bought Chrysler all the media reported that all the employees hated it. Even to this day the US public does not like the Germans for having bought the automaker. Chrysler will never again be the Chrysler that it once was. A 100% american based company. It is now a global presence. So now if a new buyer comes in the workers and public will still be griping, and hating whoever the new owner is. How long will it take for this to diminish?
Since Daimler ditched Chrysler, what about all the product lines? What makes me wonder is how a lot of the Chrysler 300C and the Crossfire are built and designed from Benz components, the 300C being formed with a lot of E-Class sedan hardware and the Crossfire using many components from the SLK. If the Benz side of things is no more, will Chrysler have to give up on the 300C and the Crossfire? That would suck.

Why would the price of Daimler Chrysler stock rise upon the announcement of Daimler co.'s decision to put the unprofitable Chrysler motors co. on the market? Just a month ago, the price of Daimler Chrysler stock (DCX) was $67 per share. Since it's decision to sell off Chrysler was made public, the stock has increased to $81 per share. I'm new at stocks and I'm trying to understand stock fluctuation a little better. I would think that the public announcement to sell off one of your companies would make your stock go down, not up. Can someone explain this to me?

Daimler/Chrysler or GM? First of all i know car companies like toyota, honda, lexus, infiniti,etc have the best quailty and reliability. I have talked to my mechanic numerous of time, and he has told me, that gm, handsdown is more reliable and then daimler/chrysler. Also he told me that dodge makes all these high horse power cars, but once you get past that, thats all the their really good for. My question is from the 05 models and up, which company has the best overall quailty and best reliability betten gm and daimler/chrysler?
if daimler/chrysler goes bankrupt what happens to my loan financed thru them? i financed the purchase of my car thru daimler/chrysler with a 0% APR/60 month loan three years ago. what would happen if they were to go bankrupt? would i have to pay my loan in full or would it be wiped away? since i doubt a bankruptcy would actually happen, i'm really just curious to know how something like this would play out. thanks for any input! thanks for the answers! and for sure, i'd never even think about not paying my loan. i'm an honest consumer and believe in paying my debts.

Does anybody know whether Daimler-Chrylser still hold a controlling interest or shares in Mitsubishi Motors? I think at one point they held a 34% stake in Mitsubishi Motors but I have also heard that Daimler-Chrysler sold what they held and the Mitsubishi family of companies had to buy Mitsubishi-Motors to keep them afloat. Will the dumping off of Chrysler by Daimler-Benz onto an American company be a blessing in disguise....? ? ....for Chrysler? Chrysler was run into the ground by Daimler-Benz when they owned them! Daimler bought Chrysler when they were the most profitable car maker in the world then gave them away to get them off there book's year's after they were worthless. Would congress bailout Chrysler if they were still owned by Daimler? In the early '80's, Chrysler was failing for the normal reasons(crap cars and no sales) when Lee Ioacoca made the 'deal' with the government for help. The 1st of it's kind. They paid off that loan to the U.S. government like 15 year's early and made it into what Daimler bought. Why is Chrysler in the same situation only worse now and with all 3 now? Will Dodge survive once again? Why has nobody brought this up?
