  1. The entrance fee is $6 and there is parking right behind the Museum. My friend and I made a visit this past summer and it had been years. Make sure you check out the American Icons - Detroit Designs exhibit.

Detroit Historical Museum Hours Monday: Closed Tuesday: Closed Wednesday: 9:30 am – 3 pm Thursday: 9:30 am – 3 pm Friday: 9:30 am – 3 pm Saturday: 10 am – 5 pm Sunday: noon – 5 pm Admission: Adults $6 Seniors and students (ages 5-17) $4 Children under age 4 FREE Detroit Historical Society members FREE secured Parking is $3 per car ( behind the building) there is also metered parking on the side street
