Is it true that all Chrysler dealerships have 5 days to sell inventory before they all close?
I'm thinking about buying a car. I heard a rumor that Chrysler dealerships have only 5 days to sell their cars, then they don't have a license anymore, and the factories are not going to buy back the cars. So they are supposedly slashing prices to get whatever money they can get. Does anyone know anything about it?

- Not ALL , just the ones that are Not having the agreements renewed . If there is one in your area , you'll see ads in your local paper or call your local one . Same with GM , closing a LOT , Not ALL . <
- Sort of - unsold inventory as of June 9 will no longer be considered "new" inventory, and will (possibly) not have the new car warranty. The cars will still be sold by the dealer whose lot they sit on, unless that dealer can make a deal to get them to a dealership that was not on the closing list.
- No, but it is true that only dealers who were contributors to liberal politicians made the cut for both GM and Chrysler. This will all come out in court and could reflect very negatively on this corrupt administration.
- Yes and no,vehicles that are in low demand will be sold cheap.Vehicles like the Wrangler that have a low inventory and selling well can be sent to dealers that are not closing.
- Only those who are losing their contracts.
- You've been grossly misinformed Sherry! Some Chrysler dealerships will close; but, there will be plenty left and you won't have a problem getting service or parts for your new Chrysler. As a matter of fact, there will be considerably more GM dealers closing than Chrysler dealers. You will be fine; I wish you many happy miles in your new Chrysler.
