Will the Detroit Lions lose the final game of their season against the Packers? How much will they lose by?

This is rich. One year after the 2007 New England Patriots were undefeated for the season, the Lions will again make NFL history by becoming winless for 16 games in 2008. Any thoughts Detroit football fans? After losing 31-28 in overtime (12/22) against the Chicago Bears, the Packers will be hungry for a win.

Public Comments

  1. 41-14 packers
  2. They will go 0-16. I feel for them though. My Dolphins went 1-15 last year. Final Score: GB 31 - DET 28
  3. I have a feeling that they will go 0-16, but I think they will put up a big fight to keep from doing so. Packers - 28 Lions - 21
  4. lions win 31-24 yes you heard me i dont want to see a team go 0-16
  5. they will win .... .
  6. oo they will lose.. 38 10
  7. I hope not. Why do people want to see any team lose all of their games? Put your favorite team in Detroit's place, how embarrassing is it not only for the players but the fans of the team. I'm not rooting against the Packers but for the Lions. I am not a Packers hater so all of you Packer fans hold your negative comments. :)
  8. packers are pretty bad!!! lions mite pull it off lol
  9. yes they will lose, but fans should take solace in the fact that bobby lane's 50 year curse is finally over. the lion's will give bill cowher the keys to the car, the shopping cart, credit cards and a blank shopping list, even the kitchen sink. the lion's will have the number 1 pick in the 2009 nfl draft. the lion's will finish 8-8 next season. 10-6 in 2010. 10-6 in 2011 with a playoff appearance and wildcard round win. 13-3 in 2012 with a division title and homefield advantage making it to the nfc championship game. everything is looking up. of course, once you make it to the superbowl, win or lose, there is at least a 50/50 chance that you wont return to the playoffs the following year. just ask new england in 2008, chicago in2007, pittsburgh in 2006, philadelphia in 2005, carolina in 2004, both tampa bay and oakland in 2003, both new england and st louis in 2002,and new york(g) in 2001. quite a streak if you ask me. some have still yet to recover.
  10. A lot. I have the feeling that perhaps the Pack might want to lose one intentionally for the Lions sake. However, I doubt it and I think they are going to light them up as the final nail in the coffin.
  11. It is classic. They will lose to Green Bay in a hard fought game 23-20 in overtime.
  12. YES THEY WILL LOSE THEY LAST GAME IN THEY WILL LOSE BY 56 POINTS I I HATE THE DETROIT LIONS IN I LIVE IN DETROIT
  13. The Packers are much better than their record, they just manage to blow every lead they have in the fourth quarter. I expect that trend to stay the same. Lions 23 Packers 20.
  14. I believe the lions will win there last game against the packs. The reason why is the offense. This year the offense hasn't been to bad. Calvin had a 1000 yard plus season. And running back kevin smith could also eclispe 1000 yards rushing. The quarterback Dan Orlovsky doesn't turn the ball over that much so the defense is going to have to lose the game. That being said the packers will probably rush for 150 and pass for 300 yes the packers. The lions should lose this game and they probably will. However i just don't see an 0-16 team happening this year.
  15. i have a feelin they gonna win cuz they don'y want to go to canton as the worst team ever my christmas wish is for the lions to go 0-16 god bless their sorry souls!
  16. I don't like either team. I couldn't care less who wins that game. One thing's for certain, though: Detroilet will waste yet another high draft choice in April.
  17. They will lose. Predicting 8-8 next season and 13-3 in 2012 is absurd. It is similar to Kitna predicting 10 wins - no chance. There is a better chance that Leyland will quit smoking Marlboro Reds between innings. If the Fords don't sell the team (and they NEVER will), or significantly change the way the organization is run (ie hand the keys over to someone without asking questions - like a Parcells situation - also will never happen) then the organization is doomed. First round pick means almost nothing if you don't have the front office intelligence to make the right pick. I love the Lions, and would love nothing more than to see them win Sunday. To be the worst team EVER in the history of the game is a total embarassment for a state that already has enough issues. Please win, Lions...
  18. i live in michigan i really am not that big on football but man they are going to lose bad i am thinking lions 7 packers 49
  19. lol all i know is people saying "detroilet" fail at making that word actually good. the R screws up the combo. Man up kids get a better phrase for detroit.
