  1. If it's similar to how it works in Everquest, GMing is for the most part an entry level position in the company. It's not something you do from home, but instead go into the office to do, so you'd have to live by where they GM from. SoE's officers is in San Diego. I'm not sure where Blizzard's officers are they they GM from.
  2. Agreed, You would have to work for blizzard. Their company is in Irvine, CA(California). But if you are a teen looking to be a GM try a private server.
  3. How about you get a real job?
  4. You can apply for a job in either Irvine, California or Austin, Texas.
  5. GM isnt a game status. It is a REAL job. You do not apply over the internet, and work from your house. You work at one of the Blizzard Entertainment building posted in California or Texas. You can find job positions available at the Blizzard entertainment website. Generally only designer and director jobs are available, but it's worth checking.
  6. You would have to work for Blizzard.
  7. if you make a private server you can be a gm and have all the commands, though you will always be the only person on that server. Other than that, its a real job that you'd have to apply for.
  8. You can find job positions available at the Blizzard entertainment website OR they have a booth set up at blizzcon every year and they will talk to you on the spot about what is available. Blizzard employees work in So. cali and Texas
  9. You have to be apart of WoW. You have to create something good in the game that players will enjoy, but you would have to live near the company of Blizzard and regestier and tell them your idea. If you apply, then you have to actually do your idea and put it in the game.
  10. Blizzard job opportunities are posted at the link below. The position of Game Master requires full time hours with ocassional overtime. Because GM service is available to players 24 hours 7 days per week, they hire for a wide variety of shifts. Blizzard is also located in Irvine, California and you must actually go into the office for work. The pay is not that great (just slightly above minimum wage) however the benefits/perks of the job are abundant. This is a serious job so if you are looking for something part-time or if you are not 18 years or older, I would not consider it.
  11. Here is some info on GM's in wow from yahoo answers :) http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080225052344AAnTA2G Hope it helps!
