Is the current state of Detroit the result of liberal or conservative philosophy?

I would say conservative because of their belief in exporting jobs to the lowest bidder. Our automobile industry was destroyed because free market gurus who thought it was a good idea to export our jobs to foreign countries. If capitalism is natural, why is Detroit such a h*ll hole? Capitalism is not part of our natural instincts. It has to be taught in order to work in a culture.

2. My @ss no conservative ever wanted jobs to go overseas. Clinton and the DC gang did that not Conservative America.

7. No conservative ever wanted jobs to go overseas? That is like saying no conservative likes more profit. Do you really think companies move operations overseas or buy products from overseas to get away from taxes? Hell no, it is for the cheap labor and goods, so they can make a bigger profit. Which is why everything we buy is a piece of junk.
8. Truly, OBJECTIVELY, you can use Detroit as a voter-guide. If you don't want your city/county/state or all of America to be MORE LIKE Detroit, you should never vote for ANY Democrat as ALL OF THEM fight to "Detroitify" their venues. No exceptions. Detroit has unchecked Democrat policy. Detroit IS exactly what Democrats WANT.
9. Probably political leaders on both sides have contributed to Detroit's present situation. Now that people realize that there is a problem, it might be a good idea to see if a solution could be worked out for the people there.
