With Chrysler dealers closing, how much should I offer them on their remaining vehicles?

I'm looking at a base Jeep Wrangler, approx 23k for suggested retail. I don't want to pick over a corpse, but I obviously want the best price. The dealer is being shut down (as a Chrysler dealer) and they have about 15 Jeeps on the lot.

  1. Offer 50%. If they decline, come back the last day before closing and they will be more than willing.
  2. If he cannot get dealer cost out it , There will be other deals trying to buy them. They will not sell them for much less then dealer cost . That is not anything near 50 percent off .
