What is the difference between a Chrysler crossfire base model and the limited version?
Hi I'm buying a Chrysler crossfire and I want to know the differeces between the base and the limited. I know that the limited has a silver trim around the windsheild and can come in convertable, but besides that what is there?

- The Base IS the Limited, but only in the first year (2004). In this year, the seats are leather, and you can choose either automatic or 6-spd; also some of the colors are limited. In 2005 and on, the base has cloth seats, and a few other things that in the limited and SRT6 come standard. Other differences are that you can have a convertible, or the SRT version (aka: supercharged, or turbo); colors are also added. The silver trim is pretty much standard on limited and SRT6 and on all the 2004 models (though I have to admit that a solid black Crossfire looks really cool). If you are looking at Crossfires, please don't bother heading to a dealership until you've done all your homework and are ready to bargain; the prices of these cars have dropped like stones, and you can find really nice deals and really well-taken care of cars through Crossfire forums (crossfireforum.org is a great place to start). Plus a lot of these car owners will customize their cars, as well as give out tons of helpful information.
